Flowers on the Charles River

Do something different for lunch! Join us for a fun, informative walk with the plants along the Charles!

There are over 40 different species of medicinal plants growing along the Charles River between Harvard Square and Central Square!

The ability to identify and use each of these plants was once commonplace to every man, woman, and child, but today most of us have lost that knowledge. Come reclaim what’s yours! Join us regularly throughout the spring, summer, and early fall and learn the plants in all of their stages of growth. By the end of these sessions, you’ll feel confident in your ability to identify the plants along the river – and you’ll how you can work with them!
