Headaches are all too common, and can be frustrating to deal with. Conventional wisdom would have it that over-the-counter drugs are the easy answer, but there are grave risks associated with the use of common painkillers, especially as a habit of frequent use. Fundamentally, though, this one-size-fits-all approach is flawed: there are many kinds of headaches – tension, migraine, cluster, pre-menstrual, etc – and each requires a different strategy.
In this class, we will discuss which types of headache respond best to which herbs. Focusing on nervous, digestive, blood-building, and adaptogenic herbs, as well as lifestyle factors, we will get to the root of headache pain to reduce both quantity and frequency.
