Herbal Honey Medicines

Honey itself is medicinal – a wound healer, antimicrobial, gentle expectorant and more. Adding herbs makes it even more potent! In this class we’ll explore the medicine of honey and various ways in which we can prepare it with herbs.

Let’s give back to the bees! You can plant an herb garden full of pollinator-friendly flowers.

We’ll start with the basics of infusing herbs into honey. Then we’ll discuss honey-based preparations like elixirs, oxymels, herbal powder honey pastes, and simple homemade lozenges. Nothing could be sweeter!
