An Introduction to Flower Essences

As herbalists, we see flower essences as an extension of the qualities and personalities of the herbs themselves. They are another way to work with the medicinal plants we often make into tea, tincture, salve, etc.

Lobelia tincture relaxes constrictions in the lungs and bronchi; lobelia flower essence aids those who feel constrained and silenced; it helps them speak their truth.

Flower essences work to help heal emotional and psychological imbalances, and that alone is an important element of holistic healing. But physical illness is often a manifestation of emotional and psychological imbalances. Have you ever noticed that people who are happy and content rarely get sick? When we can bring ourselves back into that balance, we can stay healthier – and flower essences can be a great help.

Join us for a workshop where you will learn how to use flower essences for yourself, your family, and your friends.
