Join us for a VERY SPECIAL two evening series with Charles “Doc” Garcia!
We first met Doc in 2010, and he is definitely one of our heros! He has worked extensively with homeless communities in Richmond, CA – a city with a lot of challenges – and he’s pretty much seen it all in his clinical practice.
He’ll be teaching about his work with the homeless as well as the use of herbs in long term disaster/survival situations on Wednesday, October 11th from 6-9pm.
Charles is also one of the few hispanic Curanderos that I know, and it’s very rare to get the chance to learn about this tradition.
He’ll be teaching about Traditional Hispanic Curanderismo, Hispanic Witchcraft, Ritual and Magic on Thursday, October 12th from 6-9pm.
Each class runs from 6:00 – 9:00 pm, and cost $25 each. All proceeds will go to Charles. This is probably the last chance you’ll have to learn from Chuck here on the East Coast, as this is his Last Hurrah Tour. So clear your schedule! Get a babysitter, call in sick to work, do what you have to do to make it to these amazing classes!
It was great to have Doc here to share his wisdom! We hope to see him again, and wish him luck in his travels.
