We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Tammi Sweet, one of Katja’s personal heroes, to teach a special weekend workshop at our school Saturday October 31 & Sunday November 1.
Tammi will be teaching on one of her favorite topics: stress and the way our bodies respond to it! She’ll weave information about the nervous system, the endocrine system, the endo-cannabinoid system, and the heart as an organ of perception into a in-depth picture of how our bodies understand our environment. Tammi will also teach on perceptual thinking patterns: how we learn and perceive the world – which is so central to how we’re able (or not able!) to manage stressful encounters. And of course, she’ll ground it all with her favorite herbs for stressful times, and for supporting the body’s stress and relaxation responses!
If you’re a practicing herbalist, a teacher, a therapist, a massage therapist, or a human living on this earth in this time: this workshop is for you! And what better time than the turning of the seasons to be doing this work: the perfect Halloween Treat!
This class may qualify for 4-6 CEU credits for massage therapists, further details will follow.
