Calendula Wallpaper (Calendula officinalis)
Check out these Calendula wallpaper images we made for you!
This week we’re featuring Calendula, Calendula officinalis.
Calendula is one of the safest herbs to work with – safe for babies, for elders, very low chance of herb-drug interactions… So if you’re just starting out, it’s a great place to start!
But Calendula is also an amazing polycrest herb – or in other words, it’s the Swiss Army Knife of herbs! If you’re having a problem and you’re really not sure what to do about it, there’s a very high chance that Calendula can be helpful. So even if you’re advanced in your studies, it’s worthwhile to get really good at Calendula!
One of my favorite actions of Calendula is its ability to heal the “thelial” cells: the endothelial cells that line your digestive tract, your blood vessels, and the inside of organs like your bladder – and the epithelial cells – that’s your skin! These cells make up a large percentage of your body – so chances are that they’re involved in whatever it is that you’re trying to fix up!
You can learn more about Calendula:
- In relation to first aid in the Herbal First Aid course
- In relation to skin health in the Integumentary (Skin) Health course

And naturally, Calendula is featured in our Materia Medica course, where you’ll learn over 100 of the most important herbs in our practice!
